We’re a live music company (Roameo) looking for a skilled audio + video editor to help us turn real-world gig footage into strong, engaging content. This is ongoing, remote work, paid per project. The work is a mix of audio and video — both skillsets are equally important. Typical tasks include: - Collating phone footage from live gigs and editing into short, engaging social videos - Mixing live desk audio recordings and syncing them to video - Creating polished live performance videos - Editing promo videos and tailored content (e.g. corporate-focused edits) What we’re looking for: - Strong video editing skills (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci, etc.) - Confident audio editing/mixing ability (not just basic cleanup) - Good sense of what makes an engaging and exciting client-facing video - Experience working with live music footage is a big plus - Reliable communication and ability to work to a brief This is not: - Basic social media reposting - Canva-style editing - Pure audio-only or video-only work To apply, please include: - 2–3 relevant examples of music or performance-based video work - A brief note on your experience with audio mixing/syncing live recordings - Your usual rate (per video or per hour) If you don’t have experience working with music-led content, this role likely won’t be a good fit. Audio set up for fitness video recording

We do online fitness videos using a Rode microphone. When I get out of breath (which I do frequently...) the heavy breathing is too loud. Can you help me work out how to mitigate this? I see other trainers with head-mics who have done so successfully.

AudioDrama Editor

Hello, EDIT: This project currently has 3 candidates, you are free to apply but I will be focusing on these individuals first. Thank you. I am looking for someone to edit the audio files for my audiodrama based on A Tale of Four Mages written by me. The files will be downloaded from Google Drive and uploaded to the same place. You will need to sign a contract as the product you will be working on is copywritten by me and produced by Dorrance Publishing. The contract will specifically be between you and me (the owner of the rights) This is a long-term recurring project, A Tale of Four Mages has 56 chapters, an epilogue and we are on chapter 8. I also have 12 other books; many are awaiting publication (future work). Your first task will be to arrange the files in order. The files come in chapter sets of 1 to 4. The narrator has been instructed to properly number these files for easier editing. Your second task will be to eliminate noises and mistakes from the narrator as best you can. The narrator is young and a mouth breather, but she is willing to learn and has a good attitude. At this point you will upload the first file, a clean version with no sound effects. Your third task will be to add sound effects as needed to create a scene. Ex; footsteps, bootsteps, magic usage, wind, trees rustling, snoring, etc. Some single scenes may require up to five sounds at a time. Many scenes will need unique or modified sounds, so they are a little different from one another. Changing speed, pitch, volume, etc will accomplish this. Videos will need to be 8-12 minutes each. Videos will need a 20-40 minute build up before the narration and a 20-40 minute breakdown after. Length is determined by the narration length. You will be expected to produce one edited video per two weeks, but this can go up to a video every week once my current publication is finished and I get another narrator. Payment Name your price, we can haggle if necessary but once we agree on something that is the pay we go with. I have a reputation for developing long-term working relationships with my clients, often giving them first dibs on multiple paying jobs. I offer bonuses for hard work, but I am not made of money. Audio & Sound Editing

I have a 3 minute video recording singing to camera. The audio requires the following edits: -Reverb added to the vocal, where appropriate -Adding subtle backing music. Perhaps a hand pan, harmonium or acoustic guitar The aim is the make it sound ethereal - similar style to that of artists Clara Sophia and Mei-lan. The backing music will need to be royalty free and I will need to purchase the rights to use it so I can eventually upload to music sharing platforms. At the moment, I’m recording using the inbuilt phone mic so if you have some suggestions on how to get clear and better quality audio that would be a bonus. This would be ongoing work.
